We are excited to share the news: wireless sensor Escort TD-BLE has received the certificate of compliance with European standards of explosion-proof equipment.
ATmospheres EXplosive stands for “potentially explosive atmospheres”. These requirements apply to mechanical, electrical equipment, and protective equipment whose intended use relates to potentially explosive atmospheres, whether this is underground or on the surface.
This means that the parameters, properties, design, and characteristics of the product manufactured by Escort Sensors comply with the product regulations that protect the safety of equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in the European Union.
ATEX certification improves the safety and health of workers who may be affected by explosive environments, for example in the petrochemical industry, underground mining, or food industry.
