NaviLand-2019 seminar, held from 7 to 8 November in Almaty, was divided into two full day parts: theoretical and practical. First, integrators got acquainted with the advanced control and monitoring devices produced by Escort, and during second day competitions to consolidate their knowledge were held.

Invited representatives of Escort Group, head of the export department Alexander Kuzin and head of the technical support department Rinat Gafurov led the audience to fully understand principles of operation of actual telematics equipment: they described capabilities of such devices as Escort TD fuel level sensor, DU-180 tilt sensor, DB-2 bulk level sensor, DGV-200 sowing depth sensor, and shared the specifics of Escort NET system installation. At the same time, Escort Group specialists explained how these developments work in conjunction with popular models of GPS/GLONASS trackers. All the presentations were followed by quiz, discussion of the results and answers to the questions of the participants.

The second day of the NaviLand-2019 seminar was devoted to the practical implementation of acquired knowledge. For this purpose, the organizers held a competition with a breakdown of audience into teams with their uniforms, badges and captain's badges. Competition included 8 stages, during which it was necessary to equip 8 objects with devices presented the day before during the theoretical part of the competition. The winners were those who were more successful than others in coping with the challenges. Naturally, the jury evaluated not only the efficiency of the teams, but also the quality of installation and setup of the equipment. As a result of the tournament the main winners were announced, but no team was left without encouragement. All the distinguished were given special certificates proving right to perform qualified installation of telematics devices produced by Escort Group.

“Not only we shared our knowledge with the participants, but also benefited greatly from the seminar.

Firstly, personal contact and feedback help us to understand more specifically how to improve our products. And the interactive format of the meeting allowed us to better convey the essence and benefits of our developments.

We learned about the real problems of integrators and will use the recommendations in our work. In other words, in the case of NaviLand-2019, all the participants were the winners: integrators, our experts and organizers.

I hope that the experience gained will be useful for the successful promotion of telematics solutions in the companies of Kazakhstan. Thanks to the audience and, of course, special thanks to Satellite 24 LLP. We will also practice our colleagues' approach to the organization of the seminar at our own events," comments the representative of Escort Group.
